Lady Gaga dan Bruno Mars akhirnya merilis lagu kolaborasi mereka yang berjudul "Die With a Smile", Kawula Muda!
"Die With A Smile" adalah lagu comeback dari Lady Gaga dan Bruno Mars, setelah keduanya absen merilis musik selama 2 hingga 3 tahun.
Pengumuman duet ini pertama kali diumukan pada Kamis (15/08/2024) melalui sosial media Instagram masing-masing musisi ini, Kawula Muda.
Keduanya memposting foto cover lagunya, di mana mereka tampil super kompak dengan outfit ala Barat retro, warna merah dan biru. Gaga terlihat edgy sambil memegang rokok di jarinya, sementara Bruno Mars tetap cool dengan topi koboi putihnya.
Tidak lama setelah pengumuman itu, tepatnya dua hari kemudian, mereka pun merilis video klip buat lagu "Die With a Smile."
Di video ini, Gaga dan Mars tampil ala koboi modern, terinspirasi dari gaya ikonik Dolly Parton dan Porter Wagoner. Topi koboi dan nuansa country dalam video musik ini makin memperkuat kesan retro yang mereka bawa.
Lagu ini dibuka dengan vokal Bruno Mars yang lembut dan tenang. Kemudian, Lady Gaga masuk di bait kedua dengan vokal powerfull-nya yang langsung membuat mood lagu naik.
