Billie Eilish Curi Makanan Ini dari Mal Kosong dalam Video Musik “Therefore I Am”

Billie EIlish baru saja merilis single terbarunya berjudul Therefore I Am. Video Musik untuk lagu tersebut diunggah di akun YouTubenya pada Jumat (13/11/2020) dini hari WIB.

Dalam klip yang disutradarai oleh dirinya sendiri, Billie tampil dengan pakaian kasualnya sambil berjalan mengelilingi sebuah pusat perbelanjaan kosong di wilayah California bernama Glendale Galleria.

Video dimulai dengan menampilkan kaki Billie Eilish yang berjalan menuju eskalator. Ia kemudian berjalan sambil berlari-lari kecil melewati setiap outlet di dalam mal kosong tersebut.

Saat menjumpai toko roti Wretzel’s Pretzel, ia masuk begitu saja mengambil sepotong pretzel lalu memakannya sambil berlari. Billie lantas menaiki lift lalu menuju ke sebuah toko roti lain dan mengambil sepotong donat. 

Aksi pencurian makanan masih terus berlanjut. Pemenang terbanyak Grammy Awards 2020 tersebut menghampiri stand Hot Dog on a Stick untuk mengambil segelas jus lemon dan berpindah ke Chipotle yang berada di seberangnya untuk mengambil sebungkus ayam panggang, lalu kembali lagi ke Hot Dog on a Stick mencuri satu wadah kentang goreng stick.

Ia kemudian berlari ke luar gedung menuju ke parkiran kendaraan setelah seseorang memergokinya.

Therefore I Am merupakan lagu ketiga yang dirilis oleh Billie selama 2020, setelah merilis No Time to Die pada Februari dan My Future pada Juli. Bulan lalu, penyanyi berusia 17 tahun ini juga telah sukses menggelar konser live streaming bertajuk “Where Do We Go?” 

Lagu terbaru Billie Eilish ini akan ditampilkan secara live untuk pertama kali dalam acara American Music Awards (AMAs) pada 22 November 2020.
