Kawula Muda, "Dune" sukses bawa pulang 6 penghargaan di ajang Oscar 2022!
Ajang penghargaan Academy Awards ke-94 atau Oscar 2022 telah selesai digelar di Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles pada Minggu (27/03/2022) waktu setempat. Di ajang penghargaan bergengsi ini, film CODA akhirnya dinobatkan sebagai Best Picture Oscar 2022.
Di kategori Best Picture, CODA berhasil unggul dari film The Power of the Dog yang menjadi pesaing terbaiknya tahun ini. Tak hanya satu penghargaan, film ini juga berhasil membawa pulang dua penghargaan lain yaitu Best Supporting Actor dan Best Adapted Screenplay.
Sementara itu, untuk tahun ini pemenang penghargaan terbanyak diraih oleh film Dune. Film ini berhasil menyabet 6 penghargaan sekaligus di antaranya adalah Best Film Editing, Best Cinematograpy, Best Original Score, Best Sound, Best Production Design, hingga Best Visual Effects.
Di kategori Best Actor, aktor kawakan Will Smith berhasil membawa pulang piala berkat aktingnya di film King Richard. Sedangkan untuk Best Actress jatuh pada Jessica Chastian berkat aktingnya di film The Eyes of Tammy Faye.
